Council

The management and direction of the IAS is the responsibility of a 12-members executive council, which is elected by the General Assembly for a four-year term of office and which is subject to its control and supervision. Accomplishing and planning future IAS activities are the major issues addressed by the Council at its annual meeting. Administrative and financial matters are also followed up and decided upon.
